Think about an environmental problem and do some research for possible solutions. Then, write a leaflet to persuade people to become conscious about it.
You may consult Greenpeace or the WWF among others.
Remember: all images included should have their proper links.

How to improve writing

Dear students:

According to the results of the previous poll,  you think your weakest point is writing.

I know that when we chat or write informal mails on the Internet, we do not pay much attention to punctuation marks, or spelling rules. Besides we tend to use chat language. But when we write in a blog like this, we should write paying attention to all what we have learnt about English language. 

Formal writing is not easy because we don´t even do that in Spanish! But you are studying English and writing properly is necessary. So, I would like to know how you are planning to improve this? Please, write your answers in comments. 

Remember to include your name (do not include surname) and your course and to re-read and follow the "tips" I included in the previous post (scroll down) "Let's get down to it" .

The use of blogs in the English class

Blogs are used as spaces that teachers can use with students to develop writing, share ideas and reflect on activities done in class.

Write a review from a book, a film, a cartoon or a play you enjoyed. Include a summary of the plot, your impressions and opinion and finally suggest any other similar titles. (150-180 words)

• Remember to make a draft copy of your review in WORD, customize your document in English language, and once you have finished your review press F7 to check spelling and avoid your teacher's corrections :-)
